To Whom It May Concern:
Lots of builders build homes though none like Ralph Cataldo and his company, Cataldo Custom Builders, Inc. My wife Sarah and I have done a lot of building and remodeling and when we decided to build a second home on Cuttyhunk Island, a small island off of Martha’s Vineyard, we had lots of choices. Let us tell you how we decided whom to hire:
1. Ralph had just built a home on the island. This was important because of the unique logistics of island building 15 miles off shore most of which was to be completed in the winter months.
2. We knew immediately upon meeting Ralph that he was all business and had a long successful history of building wonderful homes on schedule with no excuses.
We stepped into the project with just that but soon discovered that Ralph is all about the team. His talented office was always available to us and Ralph will always be there for you.
Ralph’s focus is on hard work. He has a vision of what he does and what his company does. You will never feel so well cared for. He builds homes not factories, under real world conditions – weather, people and change. The glue is total communication, e-mails, photos, calls and plans. Consistency is key – consistency in his approach, in his employees and in his quality. There was tremendous commitment and dedication from everyone.
Part of the overall planning included his end of project strategy. The strategy is to recognize that there will always be a punch list; the key is to minimize it, plan for it and assign it relentlessly. He never deals in crisis management and is always ahead of the plan.
Working with Ralph you get quality, price, delivery and integrity. Our project was completed in almost one year. But what we got was so much more than a beautiful new home – satisfaction and a friend. We felt cared for, we were fairly and professionally treated and helped at every turn in a way you just could not believe.
He is a true professional and has a team of very talented, capable and committed people that are extremely hard to find.
